Hiking at the foot of the Alpe di Siusi in the Dolomites
Our farm is the ideal starting point for many large and small hikes.
To the Königswarte & mushroom trail
You can set off on foot directly from the farm and reach the “Königswarte” in about one and a half hours. A wonderful viewing platform that leads to our property.
The Königswarte owes its name to King Friedrich August of Saxony, who particularly appreciated this view.
From the “Königswarte” you reach the beautifully laid out “Mushroom Trail” in the Laranzerwald after a short time. Information boards along the path provide information about the realm of mushrooms and you will encounter tuber leaf fungus, boletus and many other species in the form of worked tree trunks.
The Gumpererweg
The “Gumpererweg” also leads directly past our farm, a beautiful circular trail with various attractive stations and wonderful views.
Organic herb farm “Pflegerhof
Close to us in St. Oswald (half-hour walk) is the organic herb farm “Pflegerhof”. Here you can learn everything about local spices and herbs. The organically grown herbs are processed into tea and salt, and herbal pillows are also made. The tour of the show garden and the greenhouse with over 200 herb species is an attraction and a true paradise of scents and colours!
The Oswald von Wolkenstein Trail
The “Oswald von Wolkenstein Trail” is another nature experience for the whole family. It starts at the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi cable car and leads through the Sciliar-Rosengarten Nature Park. 15 eventful stations make legends, stories and myths an entertaining experience. The Hauenstein Forest with its two ruins is an example of the centuries-old relationship between man and nature.
